EV charging points

An EV charging point must connect safely to your existing installation. We check what is possible, install the charging point and tailor the charging control to your situation.

Carefully planned from the start

Charging that suits your electrical connection and vehicle

A charging point makes charging at home or at work convenient, but the available charging power is not determined by the charging unit alone. Your electrical connection, installation and vehicle together determine what is possible. Other electrical loads in the building also play a role. We therefore assess the whole situation before proposing a device and control system, rather than promising a single power level for every home or car park.

  • An initial check of your installation
  • Correct, neat installation
  • Can be combined with solar panels

What makes the difference

From a driveway to multiple business parking spaces

At a home, we consider the parking space, cable length, distribution board and daily charging habits. In a business car park, multiple users, future expansion and access to charging points are important. Smart charging control can distribute the available capacity, depending on the equipment chosen. Integration with solar panels is possible when the installation and controls are suitable, but this does not mean you will always charge exclusively with your own solar power.

The work involved

What we can do for you

  • Assess the electrical connection, existing installation and charging needs.
  • Determine a suitable location and cable route for the charging point.
  • Install charging points for homes and business car parks.
  • Carry out the connection and necessary modifications to suit the project.
  • Configure suitable charging controls according to the agreed functions.
  • Discuss maintenance or fault investigation for existing charging points.

Initial consultation · design · installation · follow-up

From initial enquiry to follow-up

During the initial consultation, we discuss your vehicle, parking space and usage. We then assess installation details and any additional work. The quotation specifies installation, connection and the agreed controls. During installation, we coordinate access and any potential interruptions. At handover, we test the agreed operation and explain the controls and charging process. Further expansion or changes to the electrical connection are reassessed so that the solution continues to suit your situation.

What helps us prepare a tailored quote?

Provide photos of the parking space and closed distribution board, information about your electrical connection and the vehicle type. Specify the number of charging points required, the distance to the board, existing solar panels and any plans for additional vehicles. Indicate who will use the charging points and when charging usually takes place.
